Kika Sport garments are made to perform. Following these care instructions will help your sportswear keep its colour, shape and quality for longer.
Cold wash with similar colours. Wash in cold water with similar colours to help preserve colour and prevent bleeding or fading.Air or line dry in the shade. Drying in the shade, rather than in a dryer, helps extend the life of your garments.Do not tumble dry. Tumble drying can cause shrinkage, damage and premature wear.Do not iron. Polyester is sensitive to heat; ironing can cause the fabric to melt or lose its shape.Use a wash bag. A wash bag protects garments from tangling and stretching and helps prolong their lifespan.Bright colours and fluoro shades may naturally fade over time. Following these instructions will help maintain the quality of your sportswear. Care requirements can vary between styles, so please always follow the care label on each garment.

The New Zealand website is operated by Kika Sport Limited (NZBN 9429053503305), trading as Kika Sport, with locations shown as Ahipara – Far North · Huntly – Waikato, New Zealand. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator. This policy covers personal information connected with enquiries, orders, teamwear programmes and this website.
New Zealand privacy framework
We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles, covering collection, security, access, correction, accuracy, retention, use, disclosure, overseas disclosure and unique identifiers. In addition to principles 1–13, the indirect-collection notification requirement in IPP 3A has applied since 1 May 2026.
What we collect and why
Depending on your dealings with us, we collect names, contact and delivery details, club or organisation details, orders, payment-status and transaction records, garment sizes, names and numbers for personalisation, supplied artwork, and correspondence including complaints and returns. Website access may generate technical records such as IP address, browser details and pages requested. Payment providers collect the details needed for your chosen payment method.
Collection must be necessary for a lawful purpose connected with our business. We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and artwork, manage approved team rosters, produce and deliver orders, process payments, provide support and consumer remedies, protect against fraud and meet legal record-keeping obligations. If you do not provide information needed for an order or enquiry, we may be unable to fulfil it. We take reasonable steps to check information is accurate, up to date, complete, relevant and not misleading before use or disclosure.
Direct and indirect collection
We normally collect information from you. Where lawful, we may receive relevant order information from a club, school, nominated coordinator or representative. Anyone supplying another person’s details should have authority to do so, with appropriate parent or guardian involvement for children. Please avoid unnecessary health or other sensitive information.
For information collected indirectly from 1 May 2026, we will take reasonable steps, as soon as reasonably practicable, to ensure the person knows of the collection, its purpose, intended recipients, the name and address of the collecting and holding agencies, any law authorising or requiring collection, and access and correction rights, unless an IPP 3A exception applies or appropriate notification has already occurred. This policy does not replace any specific notice required for a particular collection.
Use, sharing and overseas handling
We use and disclose information for the purpose for which it was collected, a directly related purpose, with your authorisation, or as otherwise permitted by the Act. Relevant recipients may include production and delivery providers, payment processors, hosting, email and IT providers, professional advisers, your nominated team-order coordinator where needed to administer that order, and authorities where legally required or permitted.
Orders for delivery to New Zealand may be fulfilled from Central Coast NSW, Australia. Necessary order information may therefore be handled in Australia. Other service-provider locations depend on the arrangements used for your transaction and have not yet been confirmed for publication; please contact us for the relevant details. Overseas service providers acting solely as our agents remain subject to our responsibility under the Act. Where IPP 12 applies to a disclosure to an overseas recipient, we must have reasonable grounds that comparable safeguards apply, for example through applicable law or contractual protections, or another permitted basis. If relying instead on your authorisation to a disclosure without comparable safeguards, we must expressly inform you of that risk first; merely using this site does not provide that authorisation.
Website technologies and electronic marketing
Website and payment services may use cookies or similar technologies for necessary functionality and security. You can restrict cookies in your browser, which may affect functionality. This policy is not consent to optional tracking; information about any optional analytics or advertising must be supplied when introduced.
Commercial email and SMS must comply with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007. We require valid consent, identify the sender with accurate contact details, and provide a clear, free and functional unsubscribe facility. Unsubscribe through that facility or contact us; requests will be honoured within five working days. The facility remains functional for at least 30 days after sending. Necessary order communications are separate from marketing.
Security, retention and breaches
We use reasonable safeguards against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure and other misuse, including appropriate access restrictions and secure handling arrangements with providers. No system is completely risk-free. We do not retain personal information longer than necessary for its lawful purposes, including record-keeping and dispute resolution, and securely dispose of or de-identify it when no longer needed.
We will investigate and contain privacy breaches. If a breach has caused or is likely to cause serious harm, we must notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and affected people as soon as practicable, subject to the Act’s exceptions. The Commissioner recommends notification ideally within 72 hours of becoming aware of a notifiable breach; that recommendation is not a substitute for the statutory “as soon as practicable” requirement.
Access, correction and complaints
You can request confirmation that we hold your information, access to it and correction under IPPs 6 and 7. Use Contact us and ask for the privacy officer. We may reasonably verify identity and will decide access or correction requests as soon as reasonably practicable and ordinarily within 20 working days, subject to lawful extensions. If a request is refused, we will explain the lawful reason and complaint rights. If we do not make a correction, you may ask us to attach a statement of the correction requested.
Please raise privacy concerns through the same channel with details of the issue and the outcome sought. If you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner . This policy does not limit rights under New Zealand law.
Changes
We will publish policy updates here with a revised date and provide further notice where required by law. Any new handling activities must be assessed against the Act before introduction.
The New Zealand website is operated by Kika Sport Limited (NZBN 9429053503305), trading as Kika Sport, with locations shown as Ahipara – Far North · Huntly – Waikato, New Zealand. We are in trade. These terms apply to site use and orders accepted by that operator. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator.
New Zealand consumer rights Nothing in these terms limits non-excludable rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), Fair Trading Act 1986 or other applicable law. We do not contract out of the CGA for ordinary consumer supplies. Goods must meet applicable guarantees, including acceptable quality, fitness for purpose and matching their description. Repair, replacement, refund and compensation rights depend on the failure. See Refunds and Returns .
Website use
Use the site lawfully, provide accurate information and ensure you are authorised to order for yourself or your organisation. A parent or guardian should arrange purchases where a child cannot enter a binding contract. Do not interfere with the site, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, misuse personal information or supply unlawful or infringing material.
This website presents proposed services and products. Sample stores and the coming-soon online kit designer are previews, not functioning ordering or design tools. Viewing a preview or making an enquiry alone does not place an order.
Quotes, orders, currency and tax
Site information and enquiries do not themselves create a binding order. A quote is not binding until accepted and the order confirmed under its stated acceptance process. Check quantities, sizes, artwork, pricing, delivery and any agreed conditions before acceptance. We will resolve material pricing or availability errors before accepting an affected order; we will not substitute charges or goods without agreement.
New Zealand site prices are in NZD. The price, delivery charges and any tax collected by us must be disclosed before purchase or quote acceptance. No New Zealand GST registration or GST number is represented by publication of our NZBN. If GST is charged, the applicable amount and whether it is included must be clearly stated. Import charges may arise because goods are dispatched from Australia; see our Shipping Policy before ordering. Payment methods actually available are shown at payment and may be subject to provider terms; payment logos do not guarantee approval or availability.
Custom artwork and teamwear payments
The teamwear payment schedule is a 50% deposit at artwork approval, with the balance before delivery. Before production, check and approve final artwork, colours, logos, spelling, names, numbers, roster, sizes and quantities. Approval does not excuse faulty manufacture or a departure from agreed specifications. Screen colours and previews are indicative; material colour requirements should be discussed before approval.
Changes after approval require agreement, including confirmation of any impact on price or timing before work proceeds. We do not offer voluntary change-of-mind cancellation refunds or size-change exchanges for personalised or made-to-order goods. This does not limit CGA remedies or make a deposit automatically non-refundable where the law requires a refund.
Intellectual property
You retain rights in logos, names and artwork you own. By supplying them, you permit us and the providers involved in your order to reproduce and use them as reasonably necessary for preparing, producing and fulfilling that order. You must hold the necessary permissions for third-party material, including club and sponsor logos. We do not acquire ownership of a customer logo merely because it is supplied.
Kika Sport or its licensors retain rights in existing designs, site content and materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Buying a garment does not transfer copyright in its underlying design. These terms do not authorise unrelated promotional publication of your customer-owned logo.
Delivery, remedies and privacy
Goods are dispatched from Central Coast NSW, Australia, for delivery to New Zealand addresses; we do not represent that there is a New Zealand dispatch warehouse. Production and international delivery estimates are confirmed for the order. If we arrange delivery, we remain responsible for the goods arriving in acceptable condition and within the agreed or a reasonable time under the CGA. Contact us about delivery issues, rather than being required to pursue the carrier.
Read the Shipping Policy , Refunds and Returns and Privacy Policy . Voluntary exchange conditions do not override consumer remedies for faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.
Liability and fair terms
We take reasonable care with the site and services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted website access. To the extent lawful, we are not responsible for loss caused solely by site misuse or circumstances for which we have no legal responsibility. Nothing excludes liability for non-excludable consumer guarantees, misleading conduct, our own unlawful conduct or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statutory compensation rights are preserved.
Changes, disputes and governing law
Revised terms apply prospectively when published and do not retrospectively alter an accepted order without agreement or lawful authority. An unenforceable provision is severed only to the necessary extent, without affecting mandatory rights. Raise concerns through Contact us so we can work towards a resolution. You retain access to applicable courts, the Disputes Tribunal and other lawful remedies.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. This does not exclude any mandatory protection under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
This policy applies to purchases from Kika Sport Limited (NZBN 9429053503305) through the New Zealand site. Our voluntary exchange rules do not limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or Fair Trading Act 1986.
Your consumer guarantees come first Goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for their purpose, match their description and meet the other applicable CGA guarantees. You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or compensation if those guarantees are not met. We do not contract out of the CGA for ordinary consumer purchases, including custom and sale goods.
Remedies for a guarantee failure
For a failure that can be remedied and is not substantial, we may choose to repair, replace or refund the goods, free of charge and within a reasonable time. If we refuse or fail to remedy it within a reasonable time, you may have the goods remedied elsewhere and recover reasonable costs, or reject the goods as permitted by the CGA.
Where a failure cannot be remedied or is of substantial character, you may reject the goods within the statutory rejection period and choose a refund or replacement of the same type and similar value where reasonably available, or keep the goods and claim compensation for the reduction in value. You may also recover reasonably foreseeable loss resulting from the failure. Statutory rejection rights and time limits depend on the circumstances; the voluntary exchange period below does not replace them. We will not substitute a credit note for a refund you are entitled to receive.
Goods supplied incorrectly by us, or not matching the approved specifications, are assessed under your statutory rights rather than treated merely as a change of mind.
Retail clothing: voluntary exchange rules
For off-the-shelf retail clothing, change-of-mind refunds are not offered. A customer-selected incorrect size or wrong selection may be exchanged if you contact us within 14 days after receipt and obtain return approval. For these voluntary exchanges, goods must be unused, unworn and unwashed, with tags attached and original packaging. Final-sale goods are excluded from voluntary exchanges, but not from CGA remedies.
Teamwear, community, bulk and custom orders
We do not offer voluntary change-of-mind refunds or size-change exchanges for made-to-order, personalised, teamwear, community or bulk programme orders. Please check sizes, artwork, spellings, numbers and quantities before approval. Customer selection errors are different from faults or departures from the approved order. Manufacturing issues are assessed for an appropriate remedy, including replacement or exchange where suitable, without limiting refund or other CGA rights.
Club-order requests should initially go through the club Executive Committee or nominated uniform coordinator to identify and coordinate the order. This process does not prevent an individual consumer from raising or exercising statutory rights directly with us.
Making a request
Use Contact us with reasonable proof of purchase, the order details, the issue and photographs where practical. Please report defects promptly, preferably within 30 days of receipt, to assist investigation. This is not a deadline for CGA claims: rights depend on factors such as the goods’ reasonable durability and the nature of the failure, not a fixed 30-day warranty.
Please contact us before posting goods for return instructions. Prior approval, photographs, original packaging, unused condition and tags are not conditions of a statutory remedy. We will meet reasonable return costs for a confirmed guarantee failure as required by the CGA, and arrange collection where legally required. Refunds due are normally returned by the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
Wear, care and delivery
Normal wear, misuse and washing contrary to care instructions do not in themselves establish a manufacturing defect. We assess claims fairly and do not exclude rights where goods fail to be reasonably durable or otherwise breach a guarantee.
For damaged, missing, delayed or lost deliveries arranged by us, contact us. We remain responsible for delivery obligations under the CGA and will liaise with the carrier and provide the remedy required. You are not required to pursue the carrier instead of us.
This policy covers delivery to New Zealand addresses for orders from Kika Sport Limited (NZBN 9429053503305) through the New Zealand site. Prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
Dispatch is from Australia Goods are dispatched from Central Coast NSW, Australia, not from a New Zealand warehouse. Delivery to New Zealand involves international transit and may involve customs clearance. Our Ahipara – Far North · Huntly – Waikato locations do not mean goods are held or dispatched locally.
Processing and custom production
Dispatch operates Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays. In-stock retail orders received before 2 pm on a business day (NSW local time, which differs from New Zealand time) are usually dispatched the same day. This is an estimate only. Additional processing time may be needed on Mondays and during Christmas, sales and other peak periods.
Custom and teamwear orders require artwork, roster and size approval and production before dispatch. Production and delivery estimates are set out in your quote or confirmation; the retail dispatch estimate does not apply to made-to-order goods. The agreed balance is payable before delivery.
New Zealand delivery services, charges and timing
Available international delivery services, including Australia Post services where offered, and shipping charges will be confirmed at checkout or in your quote before acceptance. Your New Zealand transit estimate must be confirmed for the destination and service chosen. Allow additional time for cross-border transport, customs, public holidays and delivery to rural or remote addresses. We have not published an unverified fixed New Zealand transit promise.
The Australian domestic estimates of 5–10 business days for standard and 2–5 for express delivery do not apply to New Zealand. Express delivery, where available, does not shorten manufacturing time. We email tracking details after dispatch. Contact us if tracking is missing or your order is delayed. Goods must arrive at the agreed time or, if none is agreed, within a reasonable time under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Customs and tax information
The amount payable to us, shipping and any tax we collect will be disclosed before purchase or acceptance of a quote. We do not represent the NZBN as a GST registration number. For goods imported into New Zealand, import GST, duties or customs and clearance fees may be assessed depending on the order and applicable rules. Unless expressly included in your quote or checkout total, destination import charges are the recipient’s responsibility. We will explain known charges before acceptance and will not describe a price as tax-inclusive unless the relevant tax is included. Contact us before ordering if the import arrangements or total charges are unclear.
Addresses and delivery problems
Please supply a complete and valid New Zealand delivery address and tell us promptly about any correction. Changes may not be possible after dispatch. If an address error supplied by you causes return or re-delivery, we will discuss any reasonable additional cost before arranging it. This does not excuse our errors or remove statutory rights.
Where we arrange delivery, we are responsible for the goods arriving in acceptable condition and within the agreed or a reasonable time under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. For damaged, late, missing or lost orders, use Contact us with your order and tracking details and any available photographs. We will investigate with the carrier and provide any remedy required by law; you do not need to pursue the carrier instead of us.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986. See Refunds and Returns and Terms of Service .
